The 40-year-old opened the set with soothing renditions of Sawaar Loon and Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, instantly setting a mellow mood. Soon, flashlights lit up across the crowd as students sang along word for word. The evening carried an intimate feel throughout.

At one point, a student walked up to present Monali with a sketch of her. Touched by the gesture, she smiled and said, “Thank you so much, you talented people. This looks even better than me in real life,” drawing loud cheers.

The mood then shifted as she performed Khwab Dekhe, before delivering one of the most anticipated songs of the night, Haan Ke Haan, leaving crowd both emotional and thrilled. The energy only grew from there as she moved into upbeat Bollywood favourites. The atmosphere briefly turned festive when she performed Shubhaarambh, with students forming circles and dancing enthusiastically, almost like a Garba celebration.
