“Life was tough but I kept on moving and I am happy I am getting married to the man I like,” said the 25-year-old, who married Nitesh at Shri Hanuman Mandir Japtibag near Tikait Rai Taalaab. Witness to the ceremony were a few friends and the medical team that conducted three major surgeries on Kavita to restore her looks.
Dr Vivek Agrawal, a plastic surgeon, held a small party after the ‘jaimaal’ and ‘phere’ solemnised the marriage.
“I conducted three major surgeries free of cost for Kavita. But even after surgery I felt like doing more and I got her trained. Today she has a counter in my clinic where items such as artificial jewellery made by her are sold to visitors,” said Dr Agrawal.
