  CJP Protest LIVE: Hours after the Delhi Police assured CJP that it will arrest Swatantra Bharadwaj, accused of assaulting a student's father during the Jantar Mantar protest, he managed to flee from Bulandshahr before the team reached there to nab him, police sources said on Friday.

  Bharadwaj had left Naithla village on a Bullet motorcycle towards Khurja and was wearing a helmet to conceal his identity, they said.

  Several police teams in plain clothes were deployed to locate him. During the search, police also questioned local journalists. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend Bharadwaj.

  CJP Protest LIVE: Amid the raging controversy over Hindutva influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj's alleged attack on the father of an activist at Jantar Mantar in July, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has called for prosecution of DCP Sachin Sharma of the Delhi Police for not taking action against him. Dipke said that Nishu Aazad, whose father was assaulted by Bhardwaj, she had ‘begged’ the cops to arrest the accused. However, even two months after the incident, the culprits have not been held, Dipke alleged in a post on X.

  CJP Protest News LIVE: The All India Students’ Association reacted to a viral podcast clip featuring self-styled Hindutva “influencer” Swatantra Bhardwaj, who allegedly claimed to have assaulted the father of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protester Nishu Azad during the Jantar Mantar protests.

  The student organisation said the law would take its course and that Bhardwaj would not be spared punishment.
