Jayalalithaa’s close aide VK Sasikala’s nephew TTV Dhinakaran launched Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam and actor Kamal Haasan unveiled Makkal Needhi Maiam. While actor Rajinikanth has expressed his intention to enter politics, he is yet to launch his political party.

Speaking about his political entry, “Since corruption is the key which needs to be rectified immediately, we unveiled this party. In the upcoming Lok Sabha election, we will field women candidates in all the 543 constituencies across the nation. Uprooting corruption from the all the government departments including the judicial system in the nation is the prime principle of our party. After registering our party with EC, I will decide about the alliance and so,” he said.

Retired HC judge Hari Paranthaman said if actors like Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth could enter politics, so could a judge like Justice Karnan.
