Bharatiya Janata Party (MP) Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday lashed out at Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, after the Aam Aadmi Party chief was issued eighth summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi excise policy case.
"If someone is questioned in a case, and the one who is accused thinks that he cannot give answers, it proves that he is guilty and is accepting it. I am surprised why ED is giving so many chances to him (Arvind Kejriwal)," Tiwari told PTI.
The Enforcement Directorate has issued summons to Kejriwal, asking him to appear for questioning on March 4. The Delhi chief minister had skipped the seventh summons, saying he will face the agency only when the party asks him to do so.
The central agency has already moved court against Kejriwal for repeatedly skipping summons over the past few months.

‘ED is so desperate now’, says AAP on eighth summons
Reacting to the ED's eighth summons, AAP leader Dilip Pandey told ANI,""Everybody is now aware as to why ED is so desperate now. The matter is already pending in court (March 16)...Why can't the ED wait for the court's decision?...They (BJP) want us to either leave the INDIA alliance or see him (Arvind Kejriwal) in jail...We will not leave the INDIA alliance no matter what."
On Monday, Kejriwal had alleged that the BJP is exerting pressure on his party to leave the INDIA alliance. “They want us to break the alliance (INDIA). When ED itself has approached the court, then why can't they wait for the court's decision? The matter is in court and they sending summons repeatedly. Informally, we have got messages to break the alliance. We will not leave the INDIA alliance,” ANI had quoted the AAP convenor as saying.
