The Delhi High Court on Thursday agreed to hear on Friday the Indian Youth Congress’s (IYC) president Uday Bhanu Chib’s plea challenging the Delhi Police’s decision to deny permission for its proposed protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.

The court said the plea will be listed on Friday and in case it does not happen, the petitioner can again mention the matter. (ANI photo)

The development came after IYC’s lawyer Sanjoy Ghose mentioned the petition before acting chief justice Nitin Sambre and justice Sanjay Sharma.

“It will be listed in 24 hours. If not listed, mention,” the court said to Ghose.
