Congress on Thursday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly posting an AI-generated video of Bihar's capital, Patna, depicting highly developed roads. The party claimed that the video was created using artificial intelligence and was deleted after people realised it was not authentic.

Sharing the now-deleted post on X, the official Congress handle said that the BJP, under PM Modi's guidance, had posted an AI-generated fake video. It added that the prime minister's "hollow" image rests on such falsehoods.
"Under Narendra Modi's guidance, the BJP posted an AI-generated fake video. People caught onto their trickery, and now the video has been deleted," the party said.
"The hollow image of the deceitful Modi rests on such lies, but now their fakery won't fly."
In a separate post, Congress shared two videos side by side. The first was the video it alleged had been created using AI, while the second purportedly showed "the real Bihar."

‘Patna got AI-makeover’, says TMC
The Trinamool Congress also took a swipe at the video, saying that Patna had been "AI-developed" before being actually developed under the BJP regime.
The party shared the video on X and wrote, “More like, सुंदर AI - विकसित AI.”
"Patna got an AI makeover before it got actual development under the @BJP4India regime!"
On checking, Hindustan Times also could not find the video on the BJP's official X handle, where the Congress claims it was posted. However, the same video was found posted on the official handle of BJP Bihar.
Following the allegations, the handle of ‘BJP4India’ reuploaded the video on its handle.
