Mathura , A woman drugged her husband with sedative-mixed milk and killed him with an iron pestle, later dumped his body in a forest because he opposed their daughter's relationship with a delivery boy, police said on Sunday.
According to police, the woman identified as Naina Soni allegedly conspired with her minor daughter and the daughter's lover, Vimal Chaudhary, a delivery boy, to abduct the deceased, Manoj Soni , with the intention of killing him. Following a probe, all three were arrested on Saturday, police said.
They were produced before a court, which sent Naina to judicial custody and the minor to a juvenile home, police said.
During questioning, Naina allegedly told police that on April 18 they gave Manoj a sedative mixed in milk and, after he fell asleep, they killed him by repeatedly striking him with an iron pestle.
Police said the daughter and Vimal then allegedly wrapped the body in a blanket and took it on a scooter to the forest near Akrur village along the Yamuna. They allegedly burnt the body and buried the remains near the river. However, the rising water level in the Yamuna made it difficult for police to recover the remains, officials said.

Police said the investigation revealed that Manoj's daughter was allegedly in a relationship with Vimal Chaudhary, son of Ramveer Singh. Manoj allegedly opposed the relationship, was angry with his wife and daughter, and would assault them, police said.
