A day before they take on New Zealand in a three-match T20 series, the Indian cricket team celebrated its continuous success over the past few months in a grand style as they dined at skipper Virat Kohli’s restaurant, Nueva, on Tuesday night.

Almost the entire Indian squad was there at the restaurant with coach Ravi Shastri also present. India have been in a scintillating form over the past couple of years, having lost their last home ODI series back in 2015 and registered series wins over England, New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the past year.

It was a lucky moment for the fans present at the restaurant as well, with quite a few of them sharing their pictures with the icons on social media. The team also celebrated opener Shikhar Dhawan’s anniversary by cutting a cake.

Loved it @aesha.dhawan5 😍😍😘😘😘

While there weren’t the usual paparazzi around, there was no dearth of pictures clicked though, with the cricketers posing for a number of them and posting them on their official handles.

The restaurant staff, too, clicked a picture with former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
