Akhara Parishad welcomes verdict on Ayodhya

Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, the apex body of sadhus and saints, on Thursday welcomed the Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ayodhya title suits saying the Ram temple issue has come out of the trap of political parties with the ruling.

"This is not a matter of victory or defeat. Now the political parties cannot play politics in the name of Ram temple issue," Akhara Parishad General Secretary Swami Hari Giri said.

He said the verdict is not only in the interest of the nation but also a tribute to those who laid down their lives for the cause.
