Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has revealed that pregnancy and the experience of an expecting single mother was an emotional journey for her.
Ginger Spice who has been preparing for single motherhood insists that the moment she found out she was pregnant was "the most joyous news anyone can have", and her first instinct was to say "Thank you God".
The redhead, who is seven months pregnant, insists that the pregnancy has been an emotional experience for her.
"It's been a huge hormonal journey, and for the first three months of pregnancy I was very ill. It was like being hungover, with a depth of tiredness I'd never experienced
It's a hideous stage when you don't look pregnant, but just as if you've eaten too many pies," she said.
Always one to live life on her own terms, Geri is clear that although the pregnancy wasn't planned her baby won't want for love.
"There was not a moment's doubt about whether this child was wanted. The joy and the gratitude I felt were instant," she was quoted by Hello magazine, as saying.
Though Geri has not yet named the father of her child, but she said she wanted the pair to have a close relationship.

{{/usCountry}}"The baby is a happy accident and I am going alone by choice. I would never deprive my child of the right to know its father. I think a child can still receive the love of two great parents who are not necessarily together. We don't have to live together to be supportive," she added.
Meanwhile, the singer has also revealed that she will name her baby Stella if it is a girl and Leonardo if it is a boy.
