Mayawati is Brahmins' new saviour

They came in different hues and colours from the various corners of the state. The foreheads of some were anointed with sandalwood. Holding blue flags in their hand they raised slogan brahmano ki yahi pukar, behanji (Mayawati) chauthi bar (Brahmins have decided that they will make Mayawati chief minister for the fourth time).
Large crowd of the Brahmins thronged the BSP office located on the Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg to attend the meeting of the bhai-charabanao committee. They jostled with each other to have a glimpse of Mayawati who was in new 'avatar' the saviour of the Brahmin community.
She in turn wooed and cajoled them. "Rival political parties tried to create differences between dalits and Brahmins", she said. Tilak, Tarazu and Talwar enko maro jutechaar was pass.
SC Mishra whom the Brahmins called modern day Chankya gave the new slogan Tilak, Tarazu aur Talwar saab ho gain Haathi parsawar.
One after another the top Brahmin leaders exhorted their brethrens to raise slogan for Mayawati. While some said brahmano ne thana hai BSP ko purn bahumat se lana hai. Other said bahenji sangharsh karo brahmin samaj apke saath hai.
Still some shouted Brahman ko diya sammaan Mayawati haimahan. Mayawati told them that she was modern 'Krishna' born to end the rule of modern Kansh (Mulayam).
The picture of the leaders, who have launched anti-brahmin movement Narayan Guru, Ramasami Naicker, Jyotiba Phule, Periyar was missing even as Brahmin leaders paid tribute to Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram.
In-charge of the bhai charabanao committee SC Mishra recounted how the Brahmin sammelan organised in various parts of the state drew large crowd of the Brahmins.
BSP MP from Unnao Lok Sabha seat Brajesh Pathak alleged that Congress and BJP have cheated Brahmin, "now we have decided to go for the blue flag", he said. Former Minister Ramvir Upadhyay said behanji has honoured Brahmins with giving them important posts in the party.
Another Brahmin leader Om Prakash Tripathi said Brahmins have played significant role in the development of the country. Later the political parties marginalised them, but now BSP has given them a new hope with brining them in the mainstream of the politics.
The bard Shivakant Bajpai reciting his poem told the Brahmins bahujan ke saath milker naya kranti lana hai (Brahmin and dalit combination will pave way for new revolution).
