The flick with six composers

Six music composers are creating music for filmmaker Chandan Arora’s movie Striker.

One composer is clearly not enough for the makers of the Bollywood flick, Striker. Six music composers are creating music for filmmaker Chandan Arora’s movie, which features Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth in the lead role, along with actors Anupam Kher and Seema Biswas.

“It has happened for the first time that one will get to cherish such a variety. The album has seven songs composed by six different composers,” said Arora. The music directors are Vishal Bhardwaj, Swanand Kirkire, who has penned songs for 3 Idiots, Shailendra Kumar, Yuva Shankar, Amit Trivedi, who wrote songs for Dev D, and Blaaze, who sang for the film Slumdog Millionaire.

The film revolves around a carrom player who grows up on the fringes of a criminal existence but does not succumb to it.
