Air taxi operations using nine-seater Cessna aircraft have been delayed by over six months due to delay in getting permissions from the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA).

The air taxi will connect major cities and tourist destinations including Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Kanha, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Shridi among other cities.

Eventually, the company plans to operate the two Cessna aircrafts between eight cities in MP and three cities outside MP.

Last year, Supreme Aviation had bagged the contract for air taxi operations in the state for three years which could be extended for up to five years. The previous contract holder Air Ventura’s term expired in 2014.
