Indore: Online tickets for India-NZ 3rd Test match sell out within hours

Scores of cricket fans were left dejected on Monday as several failed to book tickets for the India-New Zealand third Test match to be played in Indore’s Holkar Stadium between October 8 and 12.

Scores of cricket fans were left dejected on Monday as several failed to book tickets for the India-New Zealand third Test match to be played in Indore’s Holkar Stadium between October 8 and 12. Almost all the tickets for the match was were sold within hours after the online booking counter opened on Tuesday afternoon.

The online booking through www.ticketgenie.in started from 1pm on Tuesday and was supposed to continue till September 29, 3pm.

The stadium was selected as a venue for the match after the BCCI awarded test venue status to Holkar Stadium on November 15 last year.

According to information, at least 8,500 tickets were up for grab through the online counter. An equal number of tickets will be sold from the counters too.

On Tuesday, except for the women’s block and south upper pavilion, tickets for all the other blocks, including east gallery upper and lower, west gallery upper and lower and south pavilion lower were sold out.
