  Crowning the OG Hot Rodent Boyfriend

  We mean Chunky Panday. An HRB is essentially a skinny, lanky, angular-featured man who seems somehow attractive, particularly this summer. Case in point: Mike Faist, Jeremy Allen White, Jim Sarbh and Adarsh Gourav. But consider Panday, aka Ananya’s dad. He made the look work for him in the 1990s. And still so cute!

  Feeling Icy

  Jin from BTS has completed his compulsory military service, and the Army is more excited than usual. At a recent event celebrating Jin’s return and the 11th anniversary of BTS, some fans exploited his 1,000 hugs giveaway and tried to kiss him. Clips show him visibly grimacing. Tsk tsk. Bad form, from one of the best-behaved fandoms in the world.

  Checking out the talent

  So many players to discover at the UEFA European Football Championship. Germany’s Florian Wirtz, 21, scored the opening goal against Scotland. Spanish player Lamine Yamal, not even 17, assisted Dani Carvajal for the team’s third goal. England’s Jude Bellingham, 21, scored the only (and winning) goal against Serbia. They’re already calling him one of the best players in the world. What a season!

  Sending Saba love

  Saba Azad has been doing voice-overs for 15 years, with more than 100 ads to her credit. Gigs have mysteriously dried up in the last few years. Turns out, clients thought she didn’t need to work because she’s dating actor Hrithik Roshan. Her Insta post – furious, confused – makes it clear that she still pays her own bills. Why judge a woman by her partner? Why wouldn’t someone want a career too? Cringe!

  Thumping our chests

  Disney’s Tarzan turns 25 this week. Who wouldn’t want a hero who can fight off bears and tigers? Look around, the Tarzan of our dreams has been in our lives all along. Most Indian men have jungle-level behaviour, anyway: Uncombed hair, skipping showers, using grunts to communicate, swinging away when things get uncomfortable. This is why women choose the bear.
