While BJP supporters shouted ‘Modi, Modi’, Congress workers raised the ‘chowkidar chor hai’ slogan. The road outside the DM’s office was chock-a-block with supporters of both the parties.
When Lovely, who had joined the BJP just before the Municipal polls in 2017 and later rejoined the Congress, came out of the DM’s office after filing his nomination, BJP workers waived their party flag and kept shouting ‘Modi, Modi’.
