A day after accepting his resignation as leader of the Opposition in the legislative Assembly, Congress has served a show-cause notice to Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil for sharing the dais with Shiv Sena leaders in Shirdi. Vikhe Patil also spoke in the meeting organised for Sena candidate Sadashiv Lokhande and attacked NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat. In a letter, the party has asked him to clear his stance on anti-party activities. Maharashtra Congress chief Ashok Chavan even dared him to resign as party MLA.
