Lok Sabha Elections 2019 : Opposition has no leader, says Yogi
Addressing rallies in Bundelkhand area on Tuesday, he said this was the appropriate time when people should teach a lesson to the leaderless political parties, ‘which had been befooling people for the past several years’.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday made a scathing attack on the opposition parties and said neither the Congress nor the SP and BSP alliance had any leader or policies to lead the nation.
Addressing rallies in Bundelkhand area on Tuesday, he said this was the appropriate time when people should teach a lesson to the leaderless political parties, ‘which had been befooling people for the past several years’.
He asked the people if Bundelkhand got uninterrupted power supply during the rule of the BSP and the SP. “My government has ensured regular and adequate power supply. “Power was also given free to about one crore families in the state. We have not done any favour by giving power, it was the right of the people,” he added.
Addressing election meetings at Lalitpur, Mahoba, Pukhrayan and Unnao, he appealed to the people to vote for the BJP candidates to ensure a stable and responsible government which could think of the welfare of the people and the country as a whole.
He said “Bahen ji” had no manifesto and had nothing to do about the welfare of the people as she was more concerned about her own welfare. “Wahan boliyan lagti hain” (Money plays a greater role in the BSP), he alleged.
He said the BJP would get over 30 seats in West Bengal and it targeted 70 plus seats in Uttar Pradesh. “The party would have 400 seats in the Lok Sabha,” he claimed.
He warned the officers that after elections he would hold review meetings and officers found lax would be dealt with iron hand and their properties would be attached.
Yogi hailed the prime minister for his swift action against Pakistan after the Pulwama terrorist attack. He also praised Modi for providing cooking gas, toilets, and getting the bnak account of millions of people opened.
