As part of their campaign for the Lok Sabha elections 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing rallies in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and BJP national chief Amit Shah in West Bengal. Meanwhile, Congress president Rahul Gandhi will be addressing rallies in Uttar Pradesh.
The fifth phase of elections will be held on May 6 and the counting of votes will take place on May 23.

“As I did not want to cause inconvenience to the pilgrims and the people, I visited Kumbh at its fag end. I had great respect for the sanitary staff who ensured a clean surrounding. They made the country proud. I got the honour of washing their feet. I have travelled the world, met a number of saints, seers and sites of pilgrimage, but the satisfaction that I got by washing their feet, is a treasure for me,” said PM Modi.
