Exit Polls 2019 Highlights: BJP will win all 7 seats in Delhi, claims exit poll

Voting in the last phase of Lok Sabha elections closed at 6pm. After the EC mandated half an hour gap, TV channels are airing exit polls. The exit polls, known to be off the mark at times, are based on responses of the people who have cast their votes. Exit polls predict big win for Cong-DMK alliance in Tamil Nadu

The Congress-DMK alliance is set to trump the AIADMK-BJP combine in the state of Tamil Nadu, said a majority of exit polls on Sunday.

The News 24-Todays Chanakya predicted that the DMK-Congress may win 31, while the AIADMK-BJP may win only 6. The News18 India-IPSOS poll says the DMK-Congress may win 22-24 seats, whereas the AIADMK-BJP alliance may win between 14 to 16 seats.

Lok Sabha Elections Exit Poll 2019: Jagan Reddy’s party to trump Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP in Andhra Pradesh

The Telegu Desam Party (TDP) which won 15 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh in 2014 faces a tough fight with exit polls favouring the YSR Congress party led by Jagan Mohan Reddy.

According to the Times Now-VMR Exit Poll, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is likely to win 18 of the 25 seats. The India Today-Axis My India exit poll gives YRSRCP 18-20 seats with a vote share of 45 percent.

Lok Sabha Elections Exit Poll 2019: Congress tipped to get 8-9 seats in Punjab

Exit polls have predicted a larger share of Lok Sabha seats for the Congress in Punjab which voted in the last phase of the elections on Sunday.

The Congress is tipped to get 8-9 seats, the BJP-SAD alliance 3-5 seats and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) 0-1 seats out of the 13 seats in the state.
