Uttar Pradesh CM Adityanath visits Lucknow police station, inquires about FIRs

Adityanath, who has kept the home department with himself, stayed at the police station for about 25 minutes and inquired about the status of various FIRs lodged at the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow .

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath made a surprise inspection of the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on Thursday morning.

Adityanath, who has kept the home department with himself, stayed at the police station for about 25 minutes and inquired about the status of various FIRs lodged there.

The chief minister’s 5 Kalidas Marg residence, the Lok Bhawan secretariat and the Vidhan Sabha comes under Hazratganj police station.

Uttar Pradesh director general of police Javeed Ahmed, who has been summoned by the CM more than eight times over the last three days, and Lucknow senior superintendent of police Manzil Saini accompanied Adityanath.

The CM also visited the Mahila thana (women police station) and the crime branch office located on the police station premises.
