A 23-year-old Uzbekistan national was on Sunday arrested at the CST international airport for allegedly travelling to India on a fake tourist visa.

According to the Sahar police, the woman (name withheld by the police) had come to India on the same tourist visa on February 14 .
She was caught by immigration officials during an immigration check, when she was heading to Dubai.
The Sahar police will get in touch with the Uzbekistan embassy to get more information on the accused.
The woman claimed the documents are genuine .
An FIR has been registered against her under section 420 (cheating), 465 (forgery), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating) and 471 (using as genuine a forged) of the Indian Penal Code.
Baburao Mukhedkar, senior police inspector, Sahar police station, said, “She was produced before a magistrate’s court and was remanded in police custody till Tuesday.”
