They saved her life, admitted her to hospital and then robbed her purse.

On Sunday, the railway police arrested the alleged robbers, eunuch Wasim Sheikh alias Durga (20) and 16-year-old Zohra Sheikh, thanks to the closed-circuit television cameras installed at the hospital.
On January 20, Borivli resident Sujata Kawde (23), employed at a Lower Parel private firm, was standing on the footboard of the train. As the train slowed between Mahim and Bandra stations, she claimed an unidentified man hit her with a stick.
“Kawde lost balance and fell on the tracks. She sustained fractures on her limbs,” said Assistant Police Inspector Pandurang Bhangre of the Bandra railway police.
A commuter pulled the chain and the train screeched to a halt. Among the people who rushed towards Kawde were Wasim and Zohra.
The duo took her to Hinduja hospital. “After admitting her at the hospital, the accused fled away with her bag which contained Rs 600 and a mobile phone,” said Bhangre.
In her statement to the railway police, Kawde said her bag was missing. The investigators requested the hospital authorities to allow them to look through the CCTV footage and got the pictures of the two ‘saviours’.
“Based on the CCTV images, we finally arrested the duo on Sunday,” said Senior Police Inspector B Survegandh.
