Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali will be attending a musical event in Mumbai on January 29. He will attend the music launch of Ghar Wapsi, a movie in which he has sung a patriotic number, the film’s director Suhaib Ilyasi said on Sunday. This would be Ghulam Ali’s first event to Mumbai after his proposed concerts in Mumbai and Pune, scheduled for October 9 and 10, were cancelled in the wake of threats and protests by the Shiv Sena.
