Asia Cup 2018: India vs Afghanistan match ends in a tie

There was finally some luck for Afghanistan as they held India to a tie in their last match of the Asia Cup 2018. The result meant that the team enter the final unbeaten having won all five of the matches. Chasing 253 to win India were bowled out for 252 in the last over of the match. KL Rahul and Ambati Rayudu struck half centuries for India while Mohammad Nabi took two wickets. . Mohammad Shahzad (124) and Mohammad Nabi (64) were the top performers for Afghanistan as they posted a total of 252/8 in the Asia Cup 2018 Super Four match in Dubai. For India, Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets, Kuldeep Yadav two and Deepak Chahar struck on his debut. MS Dhoni is leading India for the 200th time in ODIs as skipper Rohit Sharma was rested for this match. India made five changes to their team. India have already booked their spot in the summit clash while Afghanistan were eliminated after losing their last match.
