Clinical India register big win over Afghanistan in one-off Test

India crushed Afghanistan by an innings and 262 runs on the second day of the one-off Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. After opting to bat, the hosts rode centuries from openers Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay to post 474. In reply, Afghanistan, playing their maiden Test, were skittled out for 109 and 103 inside two sessions on the second day. R Ashwin took a four-wicket haul in the first innings while Ravindra Jadeja finished with the match haul of 6/35.
