Mitchell Marsh was the aggressor in chief as LSG tried out a fifth opening combination in 10 matches this season. Opening with Arshin Kulkarni, who looked out of sorts, Marsh was anything but – hammering 9 fours and 9 sixes enroute to 111(56).(PTI)

Marsh's century off 49 balls was the second of his IPL career. What made it all the more impressive was the fact that this wasn't an easy wicket, and how he dominated the scoring against some very strong bowlers. What made Marsh's innings even more impressive was how he batted through a sequence of rain delays – three in total over the course of the first innings, but never too long, only costing a couple of overs. LSG finish with 209/3 in 19 overs, setting a DLS target of 213.(ANI Picture Service)
