Photos: Rains batter NCR, throws life out of gear

Since Sunday afternoon, the National Capital Region witnessed light and sporadic rainfall bringing much respite to the citizens from the humid and sultry weather but causing water logging and traffic congestion during peak morning commute. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the city will have “generally cloudy sky” and temperatures are predicted at maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius for the next two days.
