Parveen Babi, born on April 4, 1954, was one of the highest-paid female actors of the 1970s and early 1980s. She made her acting debut with the film Charitra in 1973. The actor received recognition for Majboor, which released the next year. She had her breakthrough with Deewaar, which hit the theatres in 1975.
