Spain and Portugal clashing this early in the tournament was always going to be a mouth-watering clash and the two sides did not disappoint. Portugal took the lead early through a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty before Diego Costa equalised. Ronaldo then put Portugal ahead again before Costa equalised in the second half.
