FIFA World Cup 2018: Sweden edge out Switzerland in tight affair

Sweden edged out Switzerland 1-0 in a tense FIFA World Cup 2018 match in St. Petersburg on Tuesday. In a game where the chances were few and far between a deflected strike by midfielder Emil Forsberg was the difference between the two sides in a game of fine Margins. Sweden could have further added to their advantage in the second half added time when initially a penalty was given but changed to a freekick later upon review. Michael Lang was shown a straight red for his foul. Sweden will now play either Colombia or England in the quarter-final.
