A major fire broke out in the Kamala Mills Compound in Mumbai’s Lower Parel in the wee hours of Friday, leaving at least 14 people dead and several others injured.

The fire fighting and rescue operation is going on,” a police official said, adding that the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
