India’s coronavirus disease (Covid-19) tally rose past 10.3 million after the country reported 19,078 new cases between January 1 and 2 morning. India also started a dry run for its vaccination programme across all states and Union territories on January 2. The current Covid-19 tally stands at 250,183 active cases with 9,906,387 recoveries and 149,218 deaths.
