Photos: India’s daily Covid-19 cases back to 50,000 after 10 days

India’s coronavirus outbreak saw daily cases rise by more than 50,000 cases for the first time in 10 days on November 5 amid a third-wave of infections in the capital. With 8.4 million confirmed cases of coronavirus, India is the second worst-hit country behind the United States. After a peak in September the county has been registering daily cases on a downward trend. Health experts and the Health Ministry have however repeatedly warned that the situation can worsen due to people crowding markets for festive shopping.
