On Sunday, the Instagram account of Miss Universe posted pictures of Harnaaz standing in a garden dressed in the ethnic ensemble. The photos showed the 22-year-old star smiling brightly. They captioned the post, "And just like that, homecoming is a wrap."

The deep purple suit set Harnaaz opted is from the shelves of the designer label Rimple And Harpreet Narula. It features a Kalidar kurti adorned with intricate prints that take inspiration from the early 19th century, heavy embroidery using Kasab-dori and Resham marodi, sequin and pearl embellishments, and patchwork.
