Photos: Maharashtra Covid-19 cases cross 6 lakh, deaths past 20,000

The addition of 8,493 cases on August 17 took Mahrashtra’s coronavirus caseload past 6 lakh, a day after the state crossed 20,000 fatalities due to Covid-19. The state now has 155,268 active cases while 428,514 people have recovered from Covid-19 including 11,391 who were released from hospitals on August 17.
