4 earthquakes hit Nepal within an hour, tremors felt in northern India
Tremors were felt in Chandigarh, Jaipur and other parts of north India. The Police control room in the pink city said there was no information yet about losses.
The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that Nepal was hit by a series of four earthquakes, with the most powerful registering a magnitude of 6.2. These tremors also resonated in parts of northern India, including Delhi-NCR.(HT_PRINT)

According to an NCS official, the initial earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.6, occurred in western Nepal at a depth of 10 kilometers around 2:25 pm. This was followed by a more intense jolt measuring 6.2 on the magnitude scale at 2:51 pm.(PTI)

Following the initial tremors, two additional earthquakes measuring 3.6 and 3.1 in magnitude struck the same region at depths of 15 km and 10 km at 3:06 pm and 3:19 pm, respectively.(PTI)
