PM Modi in Uttarakhand: Performs puja at Parvati Kund, to lay foundation for ₹4,200 cr investment projects
During his visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects and address a public meeting to the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.

Tribals and farmers affected by the Ken-Betwa river-linking project stage a symbolic Chita Andolan (pyre protests), Jal Satyagraha and hanging satyagraha by placing nooses around their necks, over their demands of better compensation and rehabilitation, in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh.
