When Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visited India| Photos

Britain's longest serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, had been on three State visits to India. Her first visit in 1961 was most memorable as India celebrated 15 years of independence. She also visited the country in the years 1983 and 1997. The Queen had expressed delight on "warmth and hospitality” she received in India.
