Photos: US single day Covid-19 infections top a grim 180,000

On November 13, The United States recorded its highest single-day spike of Covid-19 cases at 184,514 new cases. It also added 1,431 new deaths on the same day. With every state reporting an increase in new cases of the viral infection, ten states tallied all-time highs, including Midwestern states such as Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Ohio. According to the John Hopkins University and Medicine’s Covid-19 tracker, the United States’s current tally stands at 10,737,335 cases with 244,332 deaths.
