Photos: Vietnam steps up mitigation as Covid-19 infections reappear

Targeted testing and strict quarantining had helped Vietnam contain earlier outbreaks of the coronavirus but it is now battling a new cluster of infections said to have emerged from the tourist hotspot of Danang after going more than three months without detecting any domestic transmission. Vietnamese PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has said that testing and containment efforts currently underway may prove “decisive” in stopping further spread of the virus in the country.
