The complaint in the matter was filed by the deceased man's younger brother, Sharad Suresh Dhaule, 38, who lives in Nashik. Corporator Palande could not be reached for comment.

"He has not mentioned any context in his suicide note. He has simply stated that he is tired of the treatment meted out by the two women. The rest is part of the investigation and I cannot reveal it just yet," said MR Ghuge, police sub inspector, Pimpri police station.

The police refused to confirm whether the two women had ever met each other. No arrests have been made in the case.
