Narrow escape for 13-year-old girl after roof collapses in Ludhiana

A 13-year-old girl had a narrow escape in Ludhiana when she heard a loud sound and went outside to check, and minute after that roof of the house collapsed on Wednesday.

A 13-year-old girl had a narrow escape in Meharban area, when a minute after she stepped out of the house, roof of the house collapsed due to land cave in on Wednesday.

The house belongs to a taxi driver, Soni Kumar. Kumar and his wife were not at home when their daughter Suman came back from school. Suman was alone when she heard a loud sound and went outside to check. “A minuter after I stepped outside the house, the roof collapsed,” she said.

Kumar said the repair work of the road has been going on for many days, due to which the water gets accumulated on the road.

Therefore, the water accumulation affected foundation of the house, resulting in land cave in and further collapse of the roof.
