The shooting for Akhil Akkineni’s third film, which is being directed by Venky Atluri, has begun in London. The crew shared a picture on social media and fans cannot wait to see what magic the Tholi Prema directed will weave on the silver screen this time. His debut film starring Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna was received well by the critics and audience for the realistic portrayal of modern romance.

The filmmakers took to Twitter to announce that they will be starting shoot on June 22 and wrote, “#Akhil3 starts rolling today. Directed by @dirvenky_atluri. A @MusicThaman musical. @George_DOP handles the camera.”

Akhil shared a snapshot of his crew, with the leading lady of the film Nidhhi Agerwal also featuring in it, and wrote, “Off to a good start. Hence the smiles :) fully satisfied......goodnight ! @dirvenky_atluri @george_dop @AgerwalNidhhi.”

This movie is Sri Venkateswara Cine Creations’ 25th project. It can make or break Akhil Akkineni’s career as his debut film titled Akhil was a disaster at the box office, and his second film Hello did not perform too well either.
