Suriya spends time with son Dev on the sets of his brother Karthi’s upcoming film Kadai Kutty Singam, which is being produced by 2D Entertainment.
Actor Suriya is producing his brother Karthi’s upcoming film Kadai Kutty Singam under the banner 2D Entertainment. The team is currently shooting for the film and it looks like there is going to be a Rekla sequence in the film. Suriya posted a picture with son on Twitter and wrote, “Revisited some beautiful childhood memories with Dev... #Rekla #KKS #KadaiKuttySingam #Nostalgia #Culture.”
He also posted a video and wrote, “Shooting spot..! #Rekla #KKS #KadaiKuttySingam #Nostalgia #Culture.” In the picture, his son is watching the rekla race, which is considered to be a 100-year-old traditional sport.
Suriya announced his brother’s upcoming film on Pongal and also released the first look. The film set in a rural back drop will see Karthi portray the role of a farmer. He is paired opposite Vanamagan actor Sayyeshaa in the film. Priya Bhavani Shankar, who received accolades for her role in Meyaadha Maan will also play an important role in the film along with Sathyaraj and Soori.
The movie is directed by Pandiraj who has previously made films such as Pasanga, Pasanga 2, Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga. This is the first collaboration between the director and Karthi. However, Pandiraj has worked with Suriya in Pasanga 2.
