Sporting Clube de Goa, president, Peter Vaz blamed Nigerian footballer Eze Isiocha for embarrassing the Goa club.
“The player is trying to fool everyone,” Vaz said, reacting to FIFA asking the club to clear the player’s dues of approximately Rs 9.5 lakh.

Isiocha, whose three-year contract beginning in 2007-08 was terminated after two months, complained to FIFA that he hadn’t received his salary. Following investigations, FIFA asked the Goan club to pay. Vaz though said the club doesn’t have to.
