After spending 20 hours under the collapsed Bhiwandi building, Sunil Pisal, a porter, was rescued by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Sunday. Incidentally, Pisal turned 26 on Sunday. He was rushed to IGM Hospital for treatment

The blaze that broke out in the business park at around 8.30 pm later spread to a mall next to it. The thick smoke billowing out of the site of the mishap also affected vehicular traffic movement. Majiwada flyover was also jammed as the business park is located at the flyover end

Chandigarh admn proposes ₹500 rent hike for ground floors of flats under ARHC scheme
The committee held its meeting under the chairpersonship of Chandigarh advisor Dharampal, who said one of the allottees went to the Punjab and Haryana high court raising the issue of the rent of all three floors being the same. The court had directed the UT to look into the matter.
