Zomato turns 16

To mark Zomato's 16th birthday, the food delivery giant got a hilarious full page newspaper ad published on Wednesday. Styled like ads by political parties in India, the Zomato creative celebrated the company’s 16th birthday with a large photograph of Goyal, followed by smaller photographs of its top executives.

Goyal shared a video of him cutting a cake with the students at a Gurgaon school supported by Zomato's Feeding India initiative. He cut the cake with a girl student and a Zomato delivery agent.

“Spent the first part of Zomato’s 16th birthday visiting and celebrating with kids at a Zomato Feeding India supported school. Received much love, and so so many high fives,” he wrote on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

Albinder Dhindsa, co-founder and CEO of Zomato-owned Blinkit, also attended the celebrations at the school.
