Keith and Rishabh, who were also nominated this week, were declared safe as they got more votes than Kawaljit. The 60-year-old fashion designer was the third wild card entry on Bigg Boss this season, after Rishabh Sinha and Puneet Vashisht. Three others also entered the show as wild card entries after Kawaljit - Priya Malik, Norah Fatehi and Gizele Thakral.

Kawaljit entered Bigg Boss 9 on a high note, finding a close friend in Mandana Karimi. However, the designer was soon caught in the ugly fights infamous in the Bigg Boss house, locking horns with Rochelle, Priya and even his friend Mandana. His eviction leaves Keith, Nora, Gizele, Rochelle, Suyyash, Kishwar, Prince, Rishabh, Mandana and Priya in the game.

Earlier in the episode, Salman shared his views on nominations and eviction and said that he was shocked to see Aman evicted from the house. However, the Bollywood star admitted that it is the viewers’ votes that actually matter. Salman added that one of the strongest contenders will get eliminated this week.

Sunday’s episode also saw Mouni Roy, who plays an ‘ichadhari naagin’ in COLORS show, Naagin, perform alongside Salman Khan on the Bigg Boss stage.
